Word Press Problems
OK, so no software package is perfect. Hell, I’m a programmer. I know how it works. But then you get the weird shit. Every time there’s a Word Press Upgrade Announcement, Word Press resets the file and folder permissions, and … Continue reading
Notes For The Last Several Weeks
There’s been a lot of things going on over the last couple of weeks, which is why there haven’t been updates. Part of my time has been spent on recording and mixing. Part of it has been spent on setting up some web sites. Part of it was spent trying to give my mutts a bath – both of them appear to be totally allergic to water

Who’s Blog Is This Anyway? Off-Topic Comments, and why I kill them.
I’d better give some background. A while back I wrote a less than complimentary post about Lefty. Lefty responded, as did several other people, who when I checked all seemed to be the same person, and all of whom were attacking Lefty over something they claimed that he had done. To become a member, you had to be recommended by someone who was already a member, or meet me somewhere, and prove that you could think your way out of a wet paper bag. Continue reading
Spam vs Blog Posting – is there a correlation?
Ah, spam. I remember the good old days in ALT.SEX.CTHULHU when we took great delight in lampooning spam. Of course we got a better quality of spam in those days! Seriously. And we had a lot of fun doing things … Continue reading
Soon, Bloggers Must Give Full Disclosure – Title courtesy of the NY Times
The rest of the article doesn’t matter really, it just reiterates that the FTC is going to require bloggers to “disclose” any financial relationships. I wrote about the issue, and how some companies are hoping to avoid like legislation in … Continue reading
The Enemies List
Joe McCarthy. Richard Nixon. Bill Gates. All had Enemies Lists. Now we have the so-called Boycott Boys list. To quote Verofakto: Oh Hi! I take it you are most worried about being listed as one of Schestowitz’ abrasive sycophants? David … Continue reading
